RAAA....UUUUUUUDEEEEE!!!!

Hello hello hello!!! It has been a while since I have posted a new blog entry on some of my customer mishaps, sorry for the wait it had been hard to find some time to get on here. I apologize and I have missed you guys so much and also have missed being able to post and vent about my encounters on a almost daily basis :)
Well today I want to talk about interrupting your server while they are busy with another table. I know you know exactly what I am talking about and of you haven't done this yourself, I am sure you have experienced it one time or another. I saw this happen today while I was working. It wasn't happening to me but I have come across this situation on different occasions.
Honestly, I don't understand how anyone finds this appropriate or okay to do. Waving at me, hissing, or whistling at me isn't the correct way to get my attention, especially when I am in the middle of attending to another table. If I am busy what makes you think it is ok to interrupt me like that?!?! I mean really, think about it, would you like that if someone did that to you? I was trying to attend to you and take your order and you hear someone in the background screaming "HEY!!" or flaring their arms all over the place!! Is it honestly that urgent that you can't wait a minute or two until I'm done and can walk over to your table to care of what you need?
Take the time to stop and think before you do something like that to ANY server. Not only does it make you look extremely rude, you look extremely DUMB!!! Also, it makes me want to take care of you less now because you obviously don't care about anyone but yourself and think that you are more important, when you're not!!!! I treat all customers the same until you give me a reason not to, and then it's your fault for the service that you end up receiving (I am sorry but it is the truth). When you come to a full service restaurant, you should be prepared to have to wait for things, this is not McDonalds!!!! So if you don't have time to wait and be served in a timely manner than maybe you should hit up a fast food joint. Please don't come and bother me with your rudeness and your attitude because I did nothing to deserve it! You walked into my establishment and are the impatient one, NOT ME!!!!
So think before you act! You get what you give in return....just saying!!!!!
